Privatlivspolitik
This policy explains what Nunchi Climate Group ApS does with personal information you give us through this website, and what we do not do with it.
Nunchi Climate Group ApS, trading as NunchiClimate, is established in Denmark and registered at Husumvej 30, 2700 Brønshøj, under CVR number 46615905. We are the data controller for the information described below. You can reach us at hi@nunchiclimate.com.
What we collect, and when
If you only read this website, we collect nothing about you. There is no analytics, no advertising pixel and no tracking of any kind on this site.
The only personal information we collect is what you type into the enquiry form:
- your name
- your company
- your email address
- your telephone number, if you give one
- your country, if you give one
- the type of enquiry you select
- any part or OE references you enter
- whatever you write in the message field
The form also records which language version of the site you sent it from, so that we reply in the right language.
What we do with it
An enquiry is sent straight to our email inbox so that a person can read it and reply. It is not stored in this website’s database, and it is not added to any mailing list. We use your details to answer your enquiry, identify the part or reference you are asking about, and discuss supply or distribution terms if that is what you have asked for.
Our lawful basis is legitimate interests — replying to a business that has deliberately contacted us about our products. Where an enquiry becomes a trading relationship, we process your details to perform the contract between us, and to meet the legal obligations that come with it.
Who else sees it
Only those who need to:
- Krystal Hosting Ltd (United Kingdom), which operates the server this website runs on and processes its logs, including IP addresses.
- Fastmail Pty Ltd (Australia), which operates our email. An enquiry you send is delivered to and stored on Fastmail’s systems, and our team reads and answers it there.
- Professional advisers, or companies within our supply chain, but only where a live enquiry or order makes it necessary and only the details they need.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone’s marketing.
Sending information outside the EEA
This website is hosted by Krystal Hosting Ltd in the United Kingdom. The United Kingdom is covered by a European Commission adequacy decision, which means personal data may be transferred there without further safeguards.
Our email is operated by Fastmail Pty Ltd, an Australian company, so an enquiry you send us is delivered to and held on Fastmail’s systems rather than on ours. Australia is not covered by an adequacy decision, so this transfer is made under the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, which form part of the data processing agreement we have entered into with Fastmail. You can ask us for a copy of those clauses at hi@nunchiclimate.com.
Beyond those two, this website makes no requests to any third-party service. The typefaces, images and scripts it uses are all served from our own domain, so simply reading the site does not send your details anywhere.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a trading relationship are deleted from our inbox within 24 months.
Where we go on to supply you, the Danish Bookkeeping Act (bogføringsloven) requires accounting records to be kept for five years from the end of the financial year they relate to, and we keep them for that period. Records that could bear on a warranty or product-liability claim are kept for as long as such a claim could reasonably be brought.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- have anything inaccurate corrected
- have it erased, where we have no continuing reason to keep it
- restrict or object to how we use it, including objecting to processing based on legitimate interests
- receive it in a portable, machine-readable format
Email hi@nunchiclimate.com and we will respond within one month. There is no charge.
Complaints
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the data protection authority in the country where you live or work, or to our supervisory authority, Datatilsynet, the Danish Data Protection Agency — datatilsynet.dk. We would rather you came to us first so we can put it right.
Changes to this policy
If we change how this website handles personal information, we will update this page and the date below. We do not notify past enquirers of changes, because we do not keep a list for that purpose.
