工具与设备
现代系统所需的诊断与服务工具,以及在高压电与高压系统上的正确使用方法。
Nunchi Training Academy provides specialized theoretical and practical technical training in tools and equipment used for automotive air conditioning and heat pump service, diagnostics, testing, and repair.
Modern A/C and heat pump systems require more than traditional workshop tools. The increasing use of electric compressors, electronic valves, advanced refrigerants, high-pressure systems, hybrid and electric vehicle technology, and integrated thermal management requires technicians to understand both the correct tool and the correct procedure for each task.
Our training focuses on helping technicians select, understand, and correctly use specialized tools to improve diagnostic accuracy, service quality, safety, and workshop efficiency.
Training can be delivered onsite at your location or online and can be provided as theoretical training, practical hands-on training, or a combination of both.
- Three Flexible Training Options
- 1–2 Hours – Tools Introduction / Technical Update
A focused training session introducing selected tools used for automotive A/C and heat pump service.
Ideal for workshops, technicians, distributors, and organizations requiring an introduction to new tools, technologies, diagnostic methods, or specific service procedures.
The training can be delivered online or onsite, with practical tool demonstrations where appropriate.
3–4 Hours – In-Depth Tools & Diagnostic Training
A more comprehensive session providing participants with a deeper understanding of specialized A/C and heat pump tools.
Training can cover tool selection, correct operation, measurements, interpretation of results, diagnostics, service procedures, and common mistakes.
When delivered onsite, theoretical instruction can be combined with practical demonstrations and hands-on exercises using actual tools, components, and systems.
Full-Day – Complete Theoretical & Practical Tools Training
Our most comprehensive tools program combines detailed theoretical knowledge with practical hands-on experience.
Participants can work with different tools and diagnostic equipment while performing measurements, leak detection, system testing, refrigerant identification, component testing, evacuation, charging, and other service procedures.
The objective is to develop an understanding not only of how to use a tool, but when to use it and how to correctly interpret the information it provides.
A/C & Heat Pump Tools

- Electronic component testing equipment
- Multimeters and electrical diagnostic tools
- Diagnostic scan tools
- Specialized tools for hybrid and electric vehicles
- Tools for R134a, R1234yf, R744 (CO₂), and alternative refrigerants
- Diagnostic Tools – Measure, Understand & Diagnose
Correct diagnostics is one of the most important parts of professional A/C and heat pump service.
Our training focuses on using tools not simply to obtain a measurement, but to understand what the measurement tells us about the system.
Participants can learn how to combine:
- High-side and low-side pressure
- Refrigerant temperature
- Ambient temperature
- Air outlet temperature
- Superheat and subcooling
- Component inlet and outlet temperatures
- Compressor operation
- Sensor values
- Electronic valve positions
- Vehicle diagnostic data
By combining these measurements, technicians can develop a more systematic approach to diagnosing the root cause of a system problem instead of replacing components based on assumptions.
Leak Detection Tools
Modern refrigerants, environmental requirements, and increasingly complex systems make accurate leak detection essential.
Training can cover different leak detection technologies and when each method should be used, including:
- Electronic refrigerant leak detection
- UV dye and UV inspection
- Nitrogen pressure testing
- Tracer gas / forming gas
- Visual inspection
- Vacuum testing
- Pressure decay testing
Participants learn the advantages and limitations of each method and how combining different leak detection techniques can improve diagnostic accuracy.
Vacuum & Evacuation Tools
Correct evacuation is particularly important for modern A/C and heat pump systems.
Training can include:
- Vacuum pump selection
- Vacuum pump capacity
- Vacuum pump oil condition
- Digital vacuum measurement
- Micron-level vacuum testing
- Moisture removal
- Vacuum decay testing
- Hose diameter and evacuation speed
- Correct connection procedures
- Deep evacuation of complex heat pump systems
The objective is to understand the difference between simply creating a vacuum and correctly evacuating and dehydrating a refrigerant system.
Tools for Hybrid & Electric Vehicle Heat Pumps
Hybrid and electric vehicle heat pump systems introduce additional requirements for service and diagnostic equipment.
Training can include specialized tools for:
- Electric compressors
- High-voltage system considerations
- Electronic expansion valves
- Multi-way refrigerant valves
- Coolant circuits
- Battery thermal management
- Temperature and pressure sensors
- Electronic controls
- Diagnostic scan tools
- Electrically insulating compressor oils
- Complex refrigerant circuits
Particular attention is placed on understanding how mechanical measurements and electronic diagnostic information must be combined when troubleshooting modern heat pump systems.
Tools for Different Refrigerants
Different refrigerants can require different service connections, pressure ranges, equipment, leak detection methods, and safety procedures.
Our training can cover tools and equipment for refrigerants including R134a, R1234yf, R744 (CO₂), and alternative/replacement refrigerants.
Special attention can be given to the very different working pressures and equipment requirements associated with R744 systems, as well as refrigerant identification and avoiding cross-contamination when working with multiple refrigerants.
Selecting the Right Tool for the Right Job
Having more tools does not automatically create better diagnostics.
The key is knowing which tool to use, when to use it, and how to interpret the result correctly.
Our training therefore focuses on creating a structured diagnostic approach where technicians select the appropriate tools according to the system, refrigerant, symptoms, and service procedure.
This can help reduce:
- Incorrect diagnosis
- Unnecessary component replacement
- Refrigerant loss
- Repeat repairs
- Workshop time
- Service costs
While helping improve repair quality, efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Onsite or Online – Theory and Practice
Every training program can be customized according to the participants’ experience, available tools and equipment, refrigerants, vehicle applications, and specific workshop requirements.
Onsite programs can combine classroom theory with practical tool demonstrations, measurements, diagnostic exercises, leak detection, system testing, and hands-on troubleshooting.
Online programs provide flexible access to theoretical training, tool introductions, diagnostic techniques, technical updates, and correct tool selection.
Whether you require a 1–2 hour introduction, a 3–4 hour in-depth tools and diagnostics session, or a complete full-day theoretical and practical training program, Nunchi Training Academy can tailor the content to your requirements.
