Pompe di calore per veicoli

Sistemi a pompa di calore su veicoli ibridi ed elettrici: circuiti frigoriferi, valvole, scambiatori, strategia di controllo e cosa cambia quando l'impianto riscalda e raffredda.

Nunchi Training Academy provides specialized theoretical and practical technical training in automotive heat pump systems, with a particular focus on the increasingly advanced systems used in hybrid and electric vehicles.

Our training is designed for technicians, workshops, trainers, distributors, manufacturers, and other automotive professionals who want to develop their knowledge and practical skills within modern automotive heat pump technology.

Training can be delivered onsite at your location or online and can be provided as theoretical training, practical hands-on training, or a combination of both, depending on the customer’s requirements.

  • Three Flexible Training Options
  • 1–2 Hours – Introduction / Technical Update

A focused training session providing an introduction to automotive heat pump technology or covering selected technical topics.

Ideal for understanding the differences between conventional A/C and heat pump systems, new vehicle technologies, refrigerants, components, operating modes, or specific service and diagnostic procedures.

This training can be delivered online or onsite and is primarily theoretical, with practical demonstrations included where appropriate.

3–4 Hours – In-Depth Technical & Practical Training

A more comprehensive training session providing a deeper understanding of automotive heat pump system design, operation, control, diagnostics, service, and troubleshooting.

The training can combine theoretical classroom instruction with practical demonstrations and hands-on exercises when delivered onsite.

Full-Day – Complete Theoretical & Practical Training

Our most comprehensive heat pump training program, providing participants with both in-depth theoretical knowledge and practical hands-on experience.

The full-day program can include classroom theory, system demonstrations, diagnostic exercises, pressure and temperature measurements, electronic controls, use of service equipment and tools, refrigerant handling, system flushing, troubleshooting, and practical service procedures.

Training Topics

Depending on the selected program and customer requirements, training can include:

  • Principles of automotive heat pump operation
  • Differences between conventional A/C and heat pump systems
  • Heat pump systems for hybrid and electric vehicles
  • Heating and cooling operating modes
  • Cabin heating and cooling
  • Battery heating and cooling
  • Thermal management of electric drivetrain and power electronics
  • Electric compressors and their operation
  • Condensers, evaporators, chillers and heat exchangers
  • Electronic expansion valves and multi-way valves
  • Pumps, sensors and electronic controls
  • Refrigerants including R1234yf, R744 (CO₂), and alternative refrigerants
  • Refrigerant oils and service chemicals
  • Pressure and temperature relationships
  • Diagnostics and troubleshooting
  • Refrigerant recovery, vacuum and charging
  • System flushing and contamination control
  • Leak detection
  • Component replacement and repair procedures
  • Service machines and specialized tools
  • Practical use of service and diagnostic equipment
  • Safety and correct refrigerant handling
  • Environmental considerations and sustainability
  • Best practices for professional heat pump service and repair
  • Understanding the Complete System

Modern automotive heat pumps are becoming increasingly integrated with the vehicle’s complete thermal management system. The same system may be responsible for managing passenger comfort, battery temperature, electric drivetrain components, power electronics, and overall vehicle energy efficiency.

For this reason, our training focuses not only on individual components but also on helping participants understand how the complete system operates and how the different thermal management circuits interact.

Onsite or Online – Theory and Practice

Every training program can be customized to match the participants’ experience, technical level, vehicle applications, equipment, and specific requirements of the organization.

Our onsite programs can combine theoretical classroom training with practical hands-on exercises, giving participants the opportunity to work with heat pump systems, components, diagnostic equipment, service machines, and real-world troubleshooting procedures.

Online programs provide flexible access to our theoretical training and technical expertise, making them ideal for technical updates, introductions to heat pump technology, system understanding, troubleshooting sessions, and continuing education.

Whether you require a 1–2 hour introduction, a 3–4 hour in-depth training session, or a complete full-day theoretical and practical training program, Nunchi Training Academy can tailor the content to your needs.
