Химикали
Компресорни масла, UV багрила, добавки, почистващи продукти и другите сервизни химикали, които съвременната система понася или не понася.
Nunchi Training Academy provides specialized theoretical and practical technical training in chemicals used in automotive air conditioning and heat pump systems.
The training focuses on the correct selection, application, compatibility, and handling of compressor oils, UV leak detection dyes, additives, cleaning products, and other service chemicals used in modern A/C and heat pump systems.
As automotive thermal management systems become increasingly advanced, particularly in hybrid and electric vehicles, correct chemical selection is critical for system reliability, electrical safety, compressor protection, performance, and long-term durability.
Training can be delivered onsite at your location or online and can be provided as theoretical training, practical hands-on training, or a combination of both.
- Three Flexible Training Options
- 1–2 Hours – Chemicals Introduction / Technical Update
A focused session covering selected automotive A/C and heat pump chemical topics.
Ideal for introducing different oil technologies, UV dyes, additives, compatibility requirements, and correct chemical selection.
The training can be delivered online or onsite and is primarily theoretical, with product and practical demonstrations included where appropriate.
3–4 Hours – In-Depth Technical & Practical Training
A more comprehensive session providing a deeper understanding of the different chemicals used within automotive A/C and heat pump systems.
Training can include oil properties, viscosity, hygroscopic behavior, electrical properties, refrigerant compatibility, UV dye technology, additives, contamination, chemical mixing, and correct service procedures.
When delivered onsite, theoretical training can be combined with practical demonstrations, chemical testing, oil inspection, UV leak detection, and hands-on exercises.
Full-Day – Complete Theoretical & Practical Training
Our most comprehensive chemical training program combines detailed theoretical knowledge with practical hands-on experience.
Participants can work with different oils, UV dyes, additives, service chemicals, testing equipment, and A/C service machines to understand how the correct — or incorrect — chemical can influence the complete system.
The objective is to provide participants with the knowledge required to select, handle, apply, and diagnose chemicals correctly in automotive A/C and heat pump systems.
Compressor Oils
Compressor oil is one of the most important chemicals within an automotive A/C or heat pump system.
Training can cover different oil technologies including:
- Mineral Oil
- PAG Oil
- Single-end-capped and double-end-capped PAG oils
- PAG YF Oil
- POE Oil
- PVE Oil
- PAO Oil
- Different oil viscosities
- Refrigerant and oil compatibility
- Oil circulation within the system
- Oil quantity and correct oil balancing
- Hygroscopic properties and moisture contamination
- Chemical and thermal stability
- Compressor lubrication and protection
- Oil contamination and failure analysis
Special attention can be given to electrically driven compressors used in hybrid and electric vehicles, where the electrical insulation properties of the oil can be critical.
Using an incorrect or contaminated oil can potentially affect compressor lubrication, system performance, electrical insulation, and component lifetime.
UV Leak Detection Dye
UV dye is an important diagnostic tool for locating refrigerant leaks in automotive A/C and heat pump systems.
Training can include:
- Different types of UV dye
- Refrigerant and oil compatibility
- Correct dosage
- Injection methods
- Factory-installed versus service-added UV dye
- UV lamps and inspection equipment
- Leak detection procedures
- Identifying previous leaks and repairs
- Avoiding excessive UV dye
- UV dye considerations for hybrid and electric vehicle compressors
- Best practices for professional leak detection
The objective is to ensure UV dye is used as a controlled diagnostic tool without negatively affecting system performance or lubrication.
Additives & Service Chemicals
A variety of additives and service chemicals are available for automotive A/C systems. Understanding what these products do — and when they should or should not be used — is an important part of professional A/C service.
Training can cover:
- Performance additives
- Lubrication additives
- Noise-reduction additives
- Seal-conditioning products
- Leak-related products
- Moisture-related treatments
- Cleaning and flushing chemicals
- Internal system cleaners
- Odor and evaporator cleaning products
- Compatibility with refrigerants and oils
- Potential effects on service machines and recovery equipment
- Risks of chemical overuse or incorrect application
Particular attention is given to understanding the difference between approved service chemicals and products that may introduce contamination or create service problems later in the system’s life.
Chemical Compatibility & Contamination
Modern A/C and heat pump systems can be sensitive to contamination.
Our training can demonstrate how incorrect oils, excessive additives, moisture, incompatible chemicals, or cross-contamination can influence compressors, valves, heat exchangers, seals, service equipment, and overall system performance.
Participants can learn how to recognize signs of contamination and determine when oil replacement, component inspection, or system flushing may be necessary.
Practical Chemical Service
Onsite training can combine theoretical knowledge with practical demonstrations and hands-on exercises.
Depending on the training program, practical activities can include oil identification, oil quantity measurement, contamination inspection, UV dye injection, UV leak detection, chemical application, service machine operation, and system flushing.
The objective is not simply to explain which products are available, but to provide participants with an understanding of what happens inside the system when these chemicals are introduced and how they can affect system performance and reliability.
Onsite or Online – Theory and Practice
Every training program can be customized according to the participants’ experience, vehicle applications, refrigerants, compressor technologies, products, and specific requirements of the organization.
Whether you require a 1–2 hour technical update, a 3–4 hour in-depth training session, or a complete full-day theoretical and practical program, Nunchi Training Academy can tailor the chemical training to your needs.
